Another Finish!

I finished this Turning Twenty quilt for Dad for Christmas. It's quilted in an allover leaf design by Kathy Michaud. I had to bring it home to finish the binding and he got it back yesterday after our big blizzard.

Christmas is coming!

I am working on four table runners for Christmas. The first is done and delivered. I have misplaced the center square fabric for the last two-uh oh I'm in trouble.

I found this great little quilt on another blog: www.juliekquilts.blogspot.com Plaids are some of my favorite fabrics, now I'll have to take a look at my fabric stash to see just how many I already have.

A whole month since I last wrote?! OK it has been very busy around here. We made it through the fair and had lots of fun. I am back to work this week and DH is working on getting our new business going. Lots to do and not much time to sew right now.
I made this quilt for my sister and one like it for my mother a few years ago, and squares for one for myself are still in a box. Maybe sometime this winter I can get it done!

No time to quilt lately, too busy taking care of these. 40 quarts in 2 hours. Lots of jam!

Summertime!

Dropped the girls off at camp today. M cut hay Saturday and ran the inverter yesterday. Now it's sprinkling and we have to wait longer for it to dry. Ho Hum!

Blog fun!

Woo Hoo! I figured out how to edit and design my blog pages with some really cool country primitive graphics. Now it really is mine!

This sunflower quilt is a Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern from Better Homes and Gardens Patchwork Quilting sometime around 1999-2000. It's about 4ft. square and hangs on the living room wall next to the computer desk.

It's a Start

I have been working on my Disappearing Nine Patch for our quilting class. I am trying to stay a few steps ahead so I can show you where we are going with our projects. I have my nine patch blocks cut and ready to sew back together now. Do you all have your fabrics ready for class? If you have a cutter, mat and ruler please bring them with you when we meet next week.
